super simple cream cheese frosting

1lb cream cheese (2 boxes)
2 sticks of butter
1tsp vanilla extract
4c sifted powdered sugar

Beat butter and cream cheese together until creamy.
Add vanilla and beat some more.
Add sugar one cup at a time, beating slowly to incorporate.
Increase speed to high and whip until light and fluffy.

Good on red velvet, carrot cake or even devils food. Yum!

PS: I am not a fan of cream cheese icing and this stuff I'll even eat.
